Paolo Di Stefano is an executive professional with an extensive European and International background in sustainable agriculture and food policies. Since October 2024, he is Executive Director at Eat Europe, a young and innovative pan-European multistakeholder organisation that aims at stimulating thinking and tabling concrete solutions and proposals to EU decision-makers, in order to drive a sustainable and resilient food systems’ transformation, through an innovative and solid alliance between all actors: farmers, industry, retailers, academia and consumers. Prior to that, for 7 years Paolo led the Brussels Office of Coldiretti, the largest farmers association in Italy and one of the most influential actors in the agri-food sector, at European and International level, liaising with EU based companies, associations, and non-governmental organisations as well as with agri-food players in the framework of the World Farmers Organisation (WFO), in which he held the role of Chair of the Value Chain Working group for 5 years. He has been working on EU Public Affairs in Brussels since 2002, with an important experience in the European Commission as Legal Officer dealing with Competition file.
