Introduction: Main changes
As a trustworthy partner, the Polish Beef Association attaches great importance to the protection of your personal .data
We have improved our Data Protection Information Clause to provide greater transparency on information relating to:
- personal data processing activities for commercial purposes
- personal data processing activities in connection with AML/CFT and international sanctions (freezing asset).
Introduction
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously, which is why the Polish Beef Association has adopted strict rules.
The Polish Beef Association with its registered office in Warsaw at 4/217 Smulikowskiego , 00-389 Warsaw Street(“we”), acting as a personal data controller, are responsible for collection and processing of your personal data thein connection with our activities.
Our business is to help all our partners, i.e. farmers, entrepreneurs, and other actors in the beef production and supply chain, in their activities and in the implementation of their projects through the solutions we offer support and cooperation .
The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to explain how we process your personal data and how you can manage and control .it
- DOES THIS INFORMATION CLAUSE APPLY ?TO YOU
This Data Protection Information Clause applies to you (“you”) if you are:
- one of our customers or users or if you have a contractual relationship with us (e.g. as a partner or member of a consortium);
- the legal representative or agent of our client or of a partner or consortium member;

- You can request access to your personal data
If you wish to access your personal data, we will provide you with a copy of the personal data you have requested, as well as information regarding its processing.
Your right of access to your personal data may be restricted in situations provided by law. An example of such regulations is anti-money laundering and financing legislation anti-terrorist, which prohibits us from giving you direct access to your personal data processed for this purpose
- You can request the rectification of your personal data
If you believe that your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you may request that be amended or accordingly such personal data completed In some cases, you may be required to provide documentation supporting.
- You can request the deletion of your personal data
If you wish, you can request the deletion of your personal data to the extent permitted by law.
- You may object to the processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests
If you do not agree the with processing of your object on grounds relating your particular situation by informing us in detail of processing activities your personal data on the of a legitimate interest, you can to that which you object and the reasons for. We will cease then processing your personal data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing or it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

As a general rule, you have the right not to be subject to a decision that is based solely on automated processing based on profiling or other automated processing if it produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. However we may make such decisions if this is necessary for entering into a contract with us or for the performance of a contract concluded between us and you have given and if this is permitted by law or if your consent.
In any case, you have the right to challenge the decision, express your position and request the intervention of a competent person to review the decision.

- You can request the transfer of your personal data
You may request a copy of the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. If technically possible, you may request that we provide this copy to a third party.

In addition to the above-mentioned rights, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which, as a rule, will be the authority competent for your place of residence. - WHY AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL ?DATA

- In order to comply with our various legal obligations
We process your personal data when this is necessary to ensure compliance with the regulations that apply to us in particular.
- We use your personal data:
- Proper provision of services related to your participation in the Quality Meat Programme (QMP) Scheme;
- Your participation in development projects related to the development of beef cattle production in Poland;
- Correct use of the websites and applications and software owned by the PHPBM;
- detection and prevention of corruption;
- We process your personal data in order to pursue our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties
Where we base the processing of personal data on a legitimate interest, we verify that, the balancing in with accordance test there is an appropriate balance between that interest and your interests or your fundamental rights and freedoms. - improving cyber security, managing our platforms and websites and ensuring business continuity;
- improve the automation and efficiency of our operational and customer service processes (e.g. in terms of automatically fulfilling complaints, tracking your requests and improving your satisfaction based on personal data collected during our interactions with you, such as recordings phone, emails or chat );messages
- conducting statistical surveys and developing predictive and descriptive models for:
- commercial purposes: to identify the products and services that best meet your needs, to to create new offers or identify new trends among our customers, develop our commercial policy taking into account the preferences of our customers;
- security: objectives to prevent potential incidents and improve security management;
- regulatory compliance (e.g.) and risk management purposes
- anti-fraud purposes
- organising competitions, lotteries, promotional activities conducting opinion and customer satisfaction surveys
- We process your personal data in order to provide you with commercial offers by email, post and telephone
Once you have become a customer or partner, unless you object to the processing, we may send you offers by e-mail or telephone concerning our services or products and services similar to you already use. Notwithstanding the above, we will you send the above offers electronically or by telephone if you have given us the legally required additional consent to send you offers electronically or by telephone
To ensure a balance between our interests and yours, we will ensure that offers sent to you commercial relate to products or services that are relevant to your needs and complement those products and services you use already.
Unless you object, we may also provide you with traditional (postal) offers concerning products and services offered by us.
Notwithstanding the above, we would like to inform you that the targeting of marketing communications to you may be subject to obtaining additional consents for this as required by law.
- We analyse your personal data in order to to personalise carry out standard profiling our products and offers
In order to increase your satisfaction, we need to identify which customer group you belong to. To do this, we build a standard profile based on relevant data, which we choose from:
- information you have provided to us during your interaction with us or in connection with your order for a particular product or service;
- information resulting from your use of our products or services,
- information resulting from your use of different channels: websites and mobile applications (e.g. information on whether you are digitally literate or whether you prefer more autonomy in the process of acquiring products and services).
If you do not object, we will personalise our products and services for you based on standard profiling. If, on the other hand, you do consent, we may extend our activities our to customise products and services for in you the ways described below, allowing to us better address your needs.
- Your personal data are processed if you have given your consent
For certain personal, data processing activities we will provide you with detailed information and ask for your consent. Of course, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
We may ask for your consent in particular for:
- customising our offers, products or services based on more advanced profiling to predict your needs and behaviour;
- to receive offers of products and services that are not similar to those you have already opted in to, products and services from PZPBM or our trusted partners;
- to personalise our offers, products and services based on your data;
- the use of your navigation data (cookies) for commercial purposes or to expand your profile .knowledge

- WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We collect and use your personal data, i.e. any information that identifies you or allows such identification.
Depending on, among other things, the type of product or service or partnership we provide to you and the interactions we have with you, we collect different types of personal data including:
- Identifying information: e.g. full name, gender, place and date of birth, nationality number and identity card series, passport
- Contact: details(private or business) postal, addresse-mail address, telephone number
- Information on your situation business related to beef cattle production;
- Data collected as a result of our interactions with you: e.g. your comments, suggestions, information about your needs collected during our with you in person at branches (applications) and online during telephone communication (calls), conversations via email, chat, chatbots feedback on our social media pages and your recent complaints; connection and tracking data such as cookies and tags for non-advertising or analytical purposes on our websites, online, services apps and social media;
- Data about your devices (mobile phone, computer, tablet, etc.) IP, specifications address technical and uniquely identifying data;
- Personalised details login or security used to enable you to connect to our website and applications.
- FROM WHOM DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?
We collect personal data directly from you, but we may also obtain it from other sources. Sometimes we collect personal data from publicly available sources:
- publications/databases made available by public authorities or third parties (e.g. Official the Republic of Poland, National Court Register, Central Register and Information on Economic Activity, Journal of IRZ, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture and other entities);
- websites/social media pages of legal entities or business clients containing information that you have disclosed (e.g. your own website or media page);
- publicly available information such as that published in the press.
We collect also personal data from third :parties

In order to fulfil some of the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, we may, if necessary, share your personal data:
- to processors who perform services on our behalf (e.g. IT, logistics, printing, telecommunications, debt collection, consulting and distribution and marketing ) services as well as to entities to which provide intermediary on our behalf and us
- to business partners, independent agents, intermediaries or brokers, institutions public, contractors, repositories with whom we have a relationship, if such transfer of data is required to enable us to provide services to you and to deliver products or perform our contractual obligations;
- local or foreign tax, administrative, criminal or judicial authorities, arbitrators or mediators public authorities or institutions:
- in response to their request;
- for the purposes of our defence, action or proceeding;
- to ensure compliance with the regulations or recommendations issued by the competent authority applicable to us;
- to certain regulated professions, such as lawyers, notaries or auditors, when necessary under specific circumstances (legal proceedings, audit, etc.), as well as to our insurers.
- HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL ?DATA
We will retain your personal data for the period of time required to comply with applicable laws, to secure claims, or for any other period arising from our operational requirements, such as properly maintaining the account, facilitating customer relationship management and responding to legal claims or enquiries from regulatory authorities.
For example, the majority of customer information is retained for the duration of the contractual and relationship for a period lasting between 6 and 10 years after the expiry of the contractual relationship (depending on the date on which the contractual relationship) ends.
In the case of potential customers, years the information is kept for a maximum of two.
