Miłosz Motyka was born on 30 September 1992 in Myślenice. He is a graduate of the University of Agriculture in Kraków, where he completed studies in Environmental Engineering, and also a graduate of the School of Political Leaders. For many years, he has been actively involved in social and political activities.
Between 2017 and 2023, he served as President of the Young People’s Forum of the Polish People’s Party (PSL). From 2019, he held the position of Spokesperson and Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Polish People’s Party. In 2024, he was elected as a councillor of the Małopolska Regional Assembly, where he became Vice-Chair of the Committee on Environmental Protection and Public Safety.
From December 2023, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, where he was responsible for renewable energy sources and the electricity sector. Since July 2025, he has held the office of Minister of Energy.
