Waldemar Buda

Member of the European Parliament, COM AGRI

Born on September 21, 1982, in Turek. In 2006, he graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź and subsequently obtained the qualifications of a legal advisor in 2011.

In 2014, he was elected to the City Council of Łódź and later successfully ran for the 8th and 9th terms of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

From June to November 2019, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Investment and Development, and later at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.

In April 2022, he was appointed Minister of Development and Technology in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki.

In June 2024, he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament, receiving over 100,000 votes. He is a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, among others.
