Graduated in Law with a grade of 110/110 from the University of Trento (Italy). Lawyer and journalist.
He is Deputy Secretary General of CLITRAVI, the European association representing the meat processing industry and Past President of the European Livestock Voice.
He has been Head of Legal and European Affairs at Federalimentare, the Italian federation of the food industry and has worked for Confindustria, the Italian Small Business in Europe, a major law firm and several newspapers and magazines. He served as Professor of Contract Food Law too.
He is active in several advisory groups of the European Commission and civil dialogue groups, as well as in the International Secretariat of Meat and FoodDrinkEurope.
